]]>Hinds’ love for colorful interior design has been a part of her life long before she built an impressive following on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube. She grew up in a house where bold and vibrant colors were celebrated, and they always gave her a nostalgic feel because they reminded her of her childhood.
Hind wanted to fill her home with vibrant decorations because she believes they can greatly impact our mood. She’s a huge believer anyone can fill their home with bold colors if they want to because she did so while living in small and rented apartments.
“As a renter, I haven’t always had the freedom to paint my space and if you’re in the same boat that doesn’t mean you can’t still incorporate color. In fact, you can think of a neutral blank wall as a canvas, nothing but opportunity there! You can add some bold art, plants, books, and a painted dresser,” she told Tinted.
Hinds’ social media pages are a perfect reminder you don’t need a fortune to build home of your dreams. She found many of her favorite decorations and furniture pieces at thrift stores and used her DIY skills to put a fun twist on them.

]]>Stick libraries work on the same principle as human libraries. Dogs take a stick they like the most, spend the day playing with it, and then return it. Best of all, there are no late fees for forgetting to return the stick, as “librarians” usually replace it with a new one.
Stick libraries have recently become quite popular. One dog owner was recently on vacation with their pupper, and the hotel they were staying in had a stick library. This allowed the dog to get a stick every morning and take it to the beach for hours of fun.
“Every beach needs a stick library!” the caption stated.
The video quickly went viral, getting 45 million views and having Instagram users sharing how much they love the idea.
“That’s gotta be one of the cutest things I’ve ever seen. That hotel gets 10 stars for that alone!!! That’s awesome!!!” one person commented.
“How thoughtful! Great idea,” another added.
As it turns out, the video also prompted people to consider creating stick libraries for dogs in their neighborhood.
“im going to make this for my town now thank you,” one Instagram user wrote.
“omg!!!! I need to build this in my front yard,” another shared.

No artist has given us more smash hits in 2024 than Sabrina Carpenter, and it all started with her bubblegum pop bop “Espresso”, which created quite a commotion both on and off TikTok.
Most people haven’t even heard of Tommy Richman before this year, but that didn’t stop him from taking TikTok by storm this summer with his viral hit “Million Dollar Baby”.

]]>The company created a board game that is a combination of Monopoly and Scrabble, two of the most popular board games in existence. Called Monopoly Scrabble, it puts together key elements of both games for double the fun.
The goal of Monopoly Scrabble is to accumulate the most cash and property value by the time the last letter tile is played. The player does this by creating words from their letter tiles on the Scrabble section of the board, with the score from the word determining how many spaces they move on the Monopoly portion of the board. If they create a word over a special Monopoly property, they instantly acquire that property.
“Clever gameplay twists, along with custom Community Chest and Chance cards, keep things moving at a fast pace,” Winning Moves Games notes.
The game might seem slightly complicated at first, but once you get a hang of it, you won’t be able to stop playing. To learn more about the game and its rules, check out the video below.

]]>Brooks has enjoyed collecting leaves for as long as she can remember, and her childhood notebooks were filled with them. She’s always been a creative soul and worked in galleries and classrooms where she was constantly surrounded by art, but it took a while for her to summon the courage to create her own.
Brooks’s signature project “100 Painted Leaves Collection” helped her rediscover her love for art. It involved painting a leaf each day for 100 days, and this growing collection helped her solidify her path as an artist.
Brooks’ artistic process starts with choosing leaves in the forest near her home in North Carolina, and it takes about a month for them to dry before she’s ready to prep them with acrylic gesso and get to painting.
“The leaves I paint are chosen based on a number of factors. Typically, I’m looking for sturdy, intact leaves with a good shape for my composition. However, sometimes the leaf itself determines the composition, especially if the location it comes from is part of the piece!” she writes on her official website.

]]>Using photos as references, Kang tries to imagine how particular animals would look in their human form. She aims to combine both the physical features of animals and their personality traits into the final design, which has led to some unusual results.
For example, one of Kang’s illustrations sees a Chrysilla jumping spider transformed into a nightclub DJ. Both are colorful and have an affinity for spinning; the spider for spinning its web, and DJ for spinning records.
Kang got the inspiration for the series thanks to memory games Do You Look Like Your Cat? and Do You Look Like Your Dog? in which the players need to pair pictures of owners and their pets. Playing these games allowed Kang to realize how much humans and their furry friends can look like each other and prompted her to start creating these unique works.
“I focus on highlighting the unique quirks and charm of both the animal and the human they’re inspired by,” Kang shared in a recent chat with Bored Panda. “I carefully emphasize traits that bring out humor and authenticity, creating a connection between the animal’s personality and the human interpretation.”

]]>In 2023, Amy and Brian Scott put up Christmas decorations that pay tribute to Swift and take inspiration from motifs found in her albums or eras as the singer likes to refer to them: Red, Speak Now, 1989, and Evermore. Dubbed “Swiftmas House,” Scott’s residence became a popular attraction with locals and tourists, with thousands of people visiting the house.
Now, Scotts and their two daughters, Rebecca and Emily, decided to make another version of Swiftmas House for Christmas 2024, and they are trending on social media once again.
This time around, the family found inspiration in “Reputation,” “Folklore,” and “The Tortured Poets Department” eras.
Among the decorations are a neon sign “Merry Swiftmass,” a huge replica of a typewriter seen in the “Fortnight” music video, a cardboard cutout of Swift dressed in Vivienne Westwood white dress, a cutout of Swift’s boyfriend and NFL star Travis Kelce, and all sorts of other Easter eggs and nods to singer’s lyrics.
This version of Swiftmas House will be up by the end of the year, so make sure to check it out if you find yourself nearby. This year might be your last chance to see it, considering that the Scott family isn’t planning to make a third version.
