]]>Connett’s life story proves that it’s never too late to become an artist since he worked in many different industries before becoming a full-time artist in his 50s. After losing his home in a fire, he decided to leave his career in insurance behind and worked several failed jobs before finding his true calling as an artist.
He started drawing because he loves seeing his imagination come to life and the process of creating art brings him peace that he can’t attain any other way.
“[My art is] still how I illustrate my feelings about the world, but it’s modified by my wish to create order and beauty. I use my work as a vehicle to take me to another world, one of my own creation. I’m honored to share that world and thrilled that others can relate to it in their own way,” he explains on his official website.
Connett’s drawings will transport you to a whimsical world that takes inspiration from our own while also looking completely unique and magical. Beyoncé’s performance was a love letter to her latest album Cowboy Carter, and mostly consisted of songs from this album. Her show stuck to the album’s country theme, and it has given us such iconic moments as Beyoncé entering the stage on a horse and line-dancing with countless dancers in all-white outfits.
Beyoncé was joined by several guests during her performance, including Post Malone and Shaboozey, but none of them created more buzz than one of her backup dancers. Her daughter Blue Ivy Carter joined her on stage during several dance numbers, and the internet went wild after seeing her dance side-to-side with her famous mom.
To make the whole thing even better, Queen B wrapped up her performance by teasing her next project. We still don’t know what it will be about, but she’ll share an exciting announcement on January 14, 2025.

]]>Corgi Cafe was founded by Anton Ustimenko, whose love for his own corgi Juice inspired him to name a cafe after him. Juice is even listed as the co-owner of Corgi Cafe on the brand’s official website, and he was the first corgi to roam the grounds of this popular establishment before other corgi owners started bringing their own pets.
Corgi Cafe became a true sensation on social media, and corgis aren’t the only reason why thousands of people visit it every month. Its brunch menu is pretty impressive, as well, and it offers a delicious combo of breakfast and lunch staples, ranging from pancakes to toast.
The first Corgi Cafe was located near Sagrada Família, and Ustimenko is on a mission to expand his brand and turn it into a franchise. The second location recently opened its doors to corgi lovers visiting Barcelona’s Gothic Quarter, and Ustimenko wants to open several more cafes in Catalonia before moving on to the rest of Spain.

]]>A Carpool Karaoke Christmas sees James Corden passing the torch to Zane Lowe, who’s joined by several A-list stars in his first episode as the new host. Dua Lipa and Lady Gaga hopped in the taxi with Lowe to perform some of their favorite holiday classics, but Chappell Roan was eventually the one that got everyone talking.
Roan returned to her home state of Missouri in her video, and she was joined by her parents Dwight and Kara Amstutz. At one point, they delivered an emotional rendition of her breakout hit “Pink Pony Club”, the semi-autobiographical song that talks about her putting Tennessee in the rearview mirror and embracing her true self in Los Angeles.
Singing this song alongside her loved ones was a full-circle moment for the young artist and her parents, who were visibly emotional during the ride. Her father even wiped away tears from his eyes after she delivered the line “don’t think I’ve left you all behind” before talking about how proud he was of her.
Roan broke the internet on countless occasions this year, after finding viral success with her songs “Hot To Go!” and “Good Luck, Babe!” Her decision to openly speak about the pressures of her newfound fame stirred a lot of controversy online and started a larger conversation about the harassment and stalking that celebrities often go through.

]]>Drachuk has been working with glass for over 20 years, and he now specializes in “lampwork” – the practice of making glass figurines melted in the flame of a gas burner glass. Also known as flameworking or torchworking, this practice has been around since the 14th century, and it led to the creation of some of the most intricate glasswork ever made.
Drachuk is proud to continue this centuries-old tradition through his brand Glass Symphony. His glass art is mostly inspired by the endless beauty of the natural world, and we’ve seen his tiny sculptures take the shape of everything from spiders and snails to his signature octopuses.
“Here you can find representatives of flora and fauna made of glass: figurines of wild and domestic animals, birds, fish, exotic plants, and other small compositions. Despite the small size the figurines accurately reflect the physiological characteristics of the animals, their character, and even emotions,” reads Drachuk’s Etsy page.

Discovering this art form was somewhat of a happy accident – she was initially experimenting with beads and clay and sourcing materials from model railways, before deciding to take them to the next level.
“I specialize in the use of miniatures and dioramas to create magical and enchanting pieces of art inspired by the natural world, past, present, and future. My passion is to create secret places and hidden worlds, where nature reigns supreme, transporting viewers through miniature portals to a realm of fantasy and imagination,” she writes on her official website.
Dewison now uses a wide range of different materials to bring her dioramas to life, from acrylic paint and clay to laser-cut plywood and 3D-printing pens. They usually depict breathtaking nature scenes, but Dewison also enjoys adding UFOs to the mix to give them an outlandish feel and evoke the feeling we’re not alone in the universe.

“I get lots of people commenting asking me to teach them how I make the dishes that I do because they are facing the same issues. We all know how hard it is to raise a child who’s a picky eater and find things they will eat. People always say that I’ve inspired them but the truth is that they inspire me,” she told Mirror.
Macatangay’s plates are deeply rooted in popular culture and often pay homage to her son’s favorite cartoons. We’ve also seen her create food art inspired by many iconic film and TV characters, ranging from Wednesday Addams and Coraline to Jack and Sally from The Nightmare Before Christmas.
