]]>You are probably familiar with digital pets known as Tamagotchis, which were huge in the late ’90s and early ’00s. Well, Plantagotchi brings this idea to a whole new level.
Design as a planter, Plantagotchi has a display in the center that shows the “mood” of your plant. If it’s well taken care of and has everything it needs, the display will let you know through one of various “happy” faces. If not, the display will show a sad face.
Additionally, the plant will “react” to various actions like being petted, absorbing water, and more. A total of 49 animations are included, allowing the plant’s “personality” to really shine.
Plantagotchi knows how your plant’s condition through various sensors that measure soil moisture, light levels, and temperature. By calculating the data that these sensors pick up, this smart planter can successfully determine how your plant “feels.” It can also be programmed for various species to provide the best conditions.
